Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy, a half-Spanish and half-English woman was born on the 16th of April 1996 in Miami Florida. Half English and half Spanish she is the daughter of Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker and Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. Her father, an Argentinean of Scottish and English descendant is her mother. Her mother is of Spanish and English descendance. Taylor-Joy is the youngest of five children from her father's prior marriage. Families was at Buenos Aires up until Taylor-Joy was 6 years old, later moving to Victoria district of London. According to Taylor-Joy's account, the move was traumatic and she did not want to study English in the hopes of moving back to Argentina. Hill House had to be her school of choice after she moved from Northlands. She then enrolled at Queen's Gate School, where she was a dancer and also performed in productions. She left high school when she was 16 in order in order to concentrate on her acting profession. As a child, Taylor-Joy had a dream to be an actor and her dream came true when she received an opportunity to model by Sarah Doukas the founder of Storm Management.
